Anyway little late but better than not posting at all heres some images from yesterday afternoon and evening, BMX, park and inline on the mini ramp..Also some images from this morning of the inline pro qualifiers on the park.. been a bit busy with the event having so many sports to cover. Think we going to have to have a team down here next year to give it the ExPix treatment and not skimp on the time for each section.
Still got to get some mountain bike and the course looks sick a massive drop in from the bridge up to another platform almost the same height then a big jump over the path down to the wall ... you'll understand when you see the images so keep checking back here to see if we've got the shots.....

The competitions really get underway today with the pro's entering the arena's in qualifiers along side a few am's finals.
The crowds are out in their thousands along the mile or so stretch of the river through Montpelier. We have been watching the am BMX and flatland BMX so far today and are just editing images for the galleries. Keep watching as the galleries will be updated with images from today ...
Theres still more to come with some inline skate, mountain bike qualifiers and the wakeboard pro finals but I'm going to have to choose which ones I photograph as some of them overlap.

We managed an hour shooting on the wakeboard park but the rain ...yas rain .... not normally the case down here ... managed to dampen the spirits of everyone and by 7pm almost everything was packed away.
Friday morning and the rain was still hangning around. We thought it best to concentrate on the wakebaorders as they already had the pro's in action and everywhere else was still practicing or had the heats for the ams.
Some of the qualifying heats had been done the day before so with the rest of the qualifiers and the quater finals to get through this was a great chance to get shots of everyone. Yet again our trusty 300 - 800mm lens proved invaluable being able to follow the riders on every obstacle from one spot. Not normally how we would work, but with big crowds you cant always find a spot to shoot from ..and even if you do you have to get to it in time for the next rider.
Enjoy
